My Projects Inc was founded in Van Nuys to bring editorial design sensibility to event planning. We don't repeat ourselves; every event starts from a question about what the day should feel like, not what it should look like.
We don't repeat ourselves. Each event starts from a question — what should this day feel like, what should it sound like, what should a guest remember on the drive home — and only after we've answered those do we begin to draw rooms, choose palettes, or order linens.
The studio is intentionally small. The people who design your event are the same people who load the trucks, fold the napkins, and stand at the entrance to greet your guests. Nothing gets handed off, because nothing gets diluted.
We work in Van Nuys, Malibu, Downtown LA, Pasadena, the South Bay, Orange County, and beyond. The discipline is the same wherever we go: design with reason, host with warmth, and execute without visible effort.

Founder & Creative Director
Maria founded My Projects Inc after a decade in editorial production and hospitality. She believes the best events feel inevitable — as though the room couldn't have arranged itself any other way — and works with every client to find that singular note.
Originally from Yerevan, she has called the San Fernando Valley home for over a decade. She speaks English, Russian, and Armenian.

Our studio is in the San Fernando Valley. We work weddings in Malibu, brand events in DTLA, and milestone celebrations in every corner between. Available for destinations by inquiry.
